Selene's Fly Shop is located in downtown Gardiner on Water Street along with many quaint businesses and restaurants.  The shop is just a block away from the Waterfront Park at the confluence of the Kennebec River and Cobbossee Stream.  Selene has been in the fly-tying business for 30 years and her wealth of knowledge shows through in both the quantity and quality of fly-tying materials from all of the top brands like Renzetti, Rega, Semperfli, Nature's Spirit, and Fulling Mill. The flies are incredible with the majority tied by Maine tyers and original hatch charts that link to the fly bins are very unique for a fly shop and helpful. They were created by Selene's husband Eric, the shop entomologist and podcast host of Angler's Entomology. The fly fishing gear is top notch too with rods and reels from brands like Winston, Scott, Ross, and Lamson.  Then gear and fly lines from Scientific Angler and Fishpond will keep you organized with many components that have sustainably sourced or recycled materials.
